The book launch was a great success! An excellent evening was had by all at the stunning Gleebooks in Sydney.
We were privileged to have guest speaker Battell Professor of the Theory of Music Professor Richard Cohn speak about the book and his work. Thank you to all who attended this memorable occasion to launch my book Ski-hill Graph Pedagogy Meter Fundamentals a new approach to teach and learn meters through listening and visualising mathematical aspects of the meter experiences. In my presentation I explained how my students learn duple and triple meters through ski-hill graphs with a three-step approach: Clap, Tap, and Map. We were excited to see students speak on the night about their lessons!
